View of Excelsior class bridge section. Observation Lounge clearly visible.

The Observation Lounge is located at the back of Deck 1 (Room 01 004), and is the focal point for staff briefings and meetings. The room is dominated by an ornate carved oak table that sits in the centre of the room, following the curve of the room and surrounded by a multitude of executive chairs. The table has a multitude of LCARS interfaces embedded into it in front of each chair. The two side walls are dominated by display screens that can be used to display information on any subject being discussed. The back wall has a display of previous vessels that bore the name Albion, From the 74-gun ship of 1 662 tons, launched in Deptford on May 16th, 1763 to the current Excelsior [variant] class vessel.
